Even though National Park Week is over, in class we are still finishing up our WPA National Park posters...
Some have finished (below are Stanton Park and Rock Creek Park)...
Some are just getting started (Emma is drawing Lincoln Park):
Others are progressing well (Cyvon is completing his poster on the Washington Monument--cherry blossoms and all!).
Johel works on his poster about Anacostia Park...
Brinna and Antionette finished their poster on the Washington Monument.
Niya and Krystal worked on their respective posters.
Paul and Julian are working on their poster for the Lincoln Memorial.
While they were asked to create a poster for a National Park in DC, Jordan asked to do one for Jamestown. He talks about the trip often and is very proud of the wonderful photography he took there. He is using one of his pictures as the reference for his National Park WPA Poster.
The WPA poster for the DC War Memorial (World War I Memorial) that Malik J. is working on is almost finished...
Stay tuned for photos of the finished posters--coming soon!
