The water here in Sulphur is why Chickasaw (then Platt) became a National Park. They have been a source of life for hundreds of years and for many people and animals. Today, the boys were able to take time and just listen to it, stand in it, feel it, and enjoy it.
These waters are why so many people come in the summer time--to relax and cool off....while it wasn't very warm yesterday (mid 70s), it was still refreshing and a beautiful way to interact with the Park and to think about why it's one of our 392 National Parks. I think by the end of the day, all of the boys understood why....
